I was driving
my son home from school today when I spotted a lovely little blue car stopped
at a stop sign as we drove by.
'That's a nice car,' I remarked to my boy.
I've been trying to really look at cars lately because I need to replace my van. My teen son knows more about cars than I do so, when I see one I like, he tells me what it is so I can consider it as a possible replacement vehicle.
This time he looked at me as if I was an idiot. (Yeah, he does that all the time sometimes.)
'Mom, that's a Maserati,' he said, his tone implying that I should know this.
'Oh,' I replied. 'Those are expensive, right?'
'About 150 grand,' he replied.
Right.
When I got home, I looked it up. My boy was right; the local dealership has a 2011 Maserati for sale for $140,000 CDN.
Okay, then.
Let's just say we're probably not going to be buying one of these, especially not as an even trade-in for my six year old mini-van, any time soon.
But, it's still a nice car.

I'm Leanne and I'm a tired mama. I work, I parent, I juggle and I don't seem to get enough sleep. Welcome to the place where I rant about all these things...
