I could post about going on vacation.

But I won't.

Because I've now been told that I've attracted the attention of www.PleaseRobMe.com and that if I blog about being away from my house they'll tell everyone.

Great.

So instead I'll talk about painting.

I know, exciting stuff!

But we're painting the kid's bedrooms next week, so this week all three kids have been cleaning out their closets and drawers and picking out colors and getting their rooms ready for painting.

It's uh, time consuming - for me.

I've made three trips with the van to the charity store and I've got nine bags out for garbage and recycling today. Nine.

Yep, we had a little too much stuff lying around.

But the rooms will be clean, fresh and all the crap stuff my children have been hording for years has been purged.

It's a good thing.

I must admit though, getting rid of all the princess, dolly and fairy stuff made me a little sad. My youngest daughter is now almost ten. Her aunt gave her a subscription to Tiger Beat for Christmas and now all the fairy posters in her room are being replaced by little cute tweenie guy pictures. 

Sigh.

I'm okay with her getting older, it's just the fact that I'm getting older along with her that's sorta annoying.

Oh, and for those of you who will e-mail me and ask? J's room will be silver and turquoise blue. The boy's room is Toronto Maple Leaf blue and the youngest? No, it's not black, it's going to be a beautiful light green colour with dark pink accessories.

And no, I won't be posting pictures. If PleaseRobMe has found me, I don't even want to know who else could be out there peaking into my kid's bedrooms.

Coming home from a trip to find you have been robbed would sort of put a damper on the entire trip. So when ever it is you are going have a great time!!!!
