I told my kids Santa doesn't come to dirty houses. Well that and I YELLED at them to get it cleaned up. Now I am using the "You can't go to your cousins New Years Eve party if you room looks like Santa threw up in there" line. It seems to be working so far!!!!

Our house is a complete disaster and I just don't have the energy to deal with it yet. Ugh.

margie

i feel the same way. but this is my son's house, not my job. except i can't stop looking at the mess.

Burgh Baby

I've given up. If the rest of them want to live in what looks like a Toys R Us dumpster, whatever. I guess.

frogmama

I went nuts cleaning Christmas morning and have since given up. Tis the season to be slovenly.

Chris

I work all day and the kid is home all day. I clean before I work at 6am and come home to a totally messy house! how can one boy alone do so much damage!? Have a great New Years! ! !

Madge

yeah. our house is unbelievable. between the new toys and the undecorating and everybody being here all the time..... it's scary.

I'm Leanne and I'm a tired mama. I work, I parent, I juggle and I don't seem to get enough sleep. Welcome to the place where I rant about all these things...
