Challenged

I was just out grocery shopping and as I was standing in line I glanced at the magazines.

The cover of People had the 'sexiest man alive' on it. He was good looking, very good looking in fact.

The problem?

I have no idea who he is.

Ack.

I feel so old. I feel so out of it.

I don't watch a lot of TV any more and I don't go to a lot of movies but I honestly didn't think I was this media stupid.

I'm sorta depressed about this. The only good thing is that I am very Internet savvy. Give me a minute to google and tweet this guy and I'll be all caught up.

At least I will be until this afternoon when I plan on hitting the toy store for some Christmas shopping.

Does anyone know what Uberstix are?

Can't help you with the Uberstix. And the sexiest man alive is my hubby--People always gets it wrong--so I don't put much stock in what they say anyway! =)

I have never heard of uberstix and have not seen people magazine so have no idea who the sexiest man alive is. Does that make me more out of it than you or just make me good company?

Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine in the X-Men movies. He also did the voice of the main character (Roddy the Rat) in the movie Flushed Away, if your kids ever saw that. Other than that, I'm not sure what he's been in...

I just read an article in our local paper that said people who don't watch a lot of TV / movies are generally happier than the average tv couch potato - I guess this would mean ignorance is bliss in your case.

I googled Uberstix - looks like they're a fancy combination of lego and tinker toys. Great... more little pieces for the dog to chew and clog the vacuume....

I have no idea what uberstix are, but if Hugh Jackman is the sexiest man alive, I totally agree with that! The man can sing, dance and looks damn good in the new movie Australia! I think he is dirty and sweaty the whole time. Very nice eye candy if you ask me.

Okay, I know who Hugh Jackman is (he does make a great Wolverine) but I've still been feeling pretty old lately. I was in a car with four teenage girls the other night and I believe it added some years to me. What the heck are uberstix.
