This is Bala, Ontario. Bala is a lovely small town close to where we rented our cottage this summer. (Click on it if you want to see a larger picture.)
We were there for two weeks, just the five of us, and the time went slowly enough that I felt like it was summer vacation, but just fast enough that I didn't get bored.
We had some real family down time there and now that we're back into the thick of things I'm glad that we did.
This vacation seems like it happened a long time ago but in reality it was only three weeks ago that we were there.
This represents my 'lazy hazy crazy days of summer' for 2008.
I'm thinkin' it was nice enough to warrant a repeat visit for 2009.
I'm Leanne and I'm a tired mama. I work, I parent, I juggle and I don't seem to get enough sleep. Welcome to the place where I rant about all these things...
Geez Leanne, that looks like some place right off the cover of a vacation catalog. I can see WHY you'd want to repeat THAT.

Two weeks, eh? We did one week and although fun, it was very exhausting. Then again your guys are older and more independent. Here's to summer 09!

Wow...that looks gorgeous! I am sure a lot of great memories were made. I too already miss the easier days of summer :) BTW I love your new page....I am sure you have had it up for a bit but I have been out of touch :)
