Every once in a while when my dearest husband does some boneheaded thing, I turn to my daughters and say; 'Don't EVER get married.' Now I actually have scientific proof to back it up.
'While married men do less housework than live-in boyfriends, the opposite is true among females, according to a recent analysis of surveys in 28 countries. Overall, men put in nine hours of housework a week, vs. 20 hours for women.' (livescience.com) - Taken from The Toronto Star, September 16, 2007.
Um, twenty hours? I need to get over to that site and check out what their definition of housework was, twenty hours seems WAY too low to me. Maybe it was twenty hours for families without kids....
I'm more astounded by the 9 hours men supposedly do. I don't think Brad manages 5 minutes of housework in a week.

I think mine does a whopping 5 hrs of housework a week - 1 hour of helping with bedtime routine each week night. Where can I find the man who does 9 hrs?
